Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan, born Robert Allen Zimmerman, an American singer-songwriter, musician, poet and painter
I had the privilege to see him perform live this year at the Byron Bay blues fest,.... Was defiantly one of the highlights this year for me,.. I was listening to his Modern Times album while painting this ,... Hoping I would channel his spirit in some way to get a good result..... Worth a try.

"Soul Man"

I found these after cleaning my cupboard out in my room,....I wore them to lunch today,... they just need a bit of TLC,... the sole is coming away as I found out racing up the stairs to get my wallet ... managed to avoid injury though..... strange subject, but it was part of the daily paint works challenge..... lucky for you smello-vision hasn't been invented yet.

Andy Irons (R.I.P)

Oil on plywood 600x 400mm
this was a tricky one.... using a B&W photo for reference, and having never painted on a raw wood substrate!.... but all things considered I'm pleased with the out come.
